In this 250th year, we recognize how many of us are immigrants, weaving the fabric of our democracy. We’re joining Welcome Blankets, making blankets to be distributed to greet immigrants.
40”x40” in size, knitted, crocheted, quilted, woven. Any fiber; must be washable to be easy to care for. Think of the blanket as a gift; it should hurt a little bit to give it away because you love it so much.
Blankets will be collected in early September, exhibited locally, and then donated to WelcomeBlanket.org for distribution where most needed.
